Should you visit turkey?

Turkey was never on my travel list. It was an impromptu decision between the country Brazil or Turkey. We ended up with Turkey because as a traveller to Brazil we were highly recommended to get injections for health purposes.
And I never regretted that decision. Turkey was an awesome country! We covered 4 towns in Turkey each by using domestic flight which was around 1 to 2 hours each flight. In each town, we joined the hotel city tour to travel around.
Before making this decision safety was one of the main topic discussed as two years ago we all know that there was an attack in one of the big city. But guess what! Among all the recent country I visited Turkey has the most friendly people I ever met.
1. Istanbul ( used to be the capital city ) We join a full day tour from Best Western hotel and lunch was included. The whole tour was roughly from morning 10am to 5pm. The tour bus will fetch and send you back right to the hotel. A tour guide who speaks fluent English is provided.

 Blue Mosque

Hagia Sofia
3 days 2 nights in Istanbul.
Must try their street food corn.

2. Cappadocia. Cappadocia is my most favourite place of all four. This is the famous place to have a wonderful adventure in a hot air balloon. We booked the tour online and chose the ride to see the sunrise. It was just amazing! If riding on a hot air balloon is on your bucket list I highly recommend this place. Don’t forget to spend a night in a cave hotel. We spent two nights here and booked a private tour to visit the fairy chimneys and Derinkuyu underground. For this tour guide was not included.

3.Ephesus. Ephesus we too travel with a private tour but this was included with a personal driver and tour guide. We covered the house of Virgin Mary, the temple of Artemis, Basilica of St. John and Ephesus the old ruin city itself was full of history. We booked an Airbnb to spend a night here.

4.Pamukkale. This town is famous for its natural thermal pool and also the ruins of Laodicea and Hierapolis. For this town, we mostly walk but Laodicea, we travel using the local minivan that comes every 15 minutes as was told by the locals. Ephesus to Pamukkale is only about 3 hours drive but we took the flight which is longer due to 2 hours stayed over at Istanbul airport. We stay in an Airbnb. Almost all type of food is seen available in this area.
Do try out some of the local's food. My favourite was the pide which is their local type of pizza. Turkey is famous for their pomegranate juice and also tea. The people there are super friendly and makes you feel at home.

internSHIP

" Should I just delete my blog?"

Hey how's everyone doing?

Internship?
It makes me mature a lot as a person. In my thinking and making of decisions.
Honestly, I am enjoying internship at the same time slowly dying mentally and emotionally. Maybe I am just overthinking. I miss home. I miss friends. I miss church (kinda haha). I miss the free time where I can just derp around and not do anything. People say Mandarine Oriental Hotel is like a prestige hotel and I should be grateful for that but so what. Is not like I am going to work there in the future. Make my resume nice? I bet so.  Staying at a friend's house was not that bad but I just feel that I am interfering with their daily life. Overthinking again. Meeting new friends was the best part of the internship. It helps me see that no matter who they are regardless of their race, religion, gender, the country there is so much to learn by opening up to these people. And I felt a sense of belonging. Weird but that's how I felt. Is only the second month and three more months to go till it ends.
Hope I don't die by then.
:)

De BIG Apple diary

took this picture from the observotory tower
How's everyone doing? Have been super busy with university life and almost forget that this blog still exists. In the month Of March, I was lucky to have the chance to travel all the way to New York City for three week. And yez this blog will be a very very short summary about my trip there.

Things i love about NYC:
- Even though the city is filled with high rise buildings you still can somehow find nature around you. Central Park is located in the city itself.
- Public Transport is supper convenient
- Shop, shop and more shopping
- Variety of food can be found. From italian to chinese to japanese to korean. And they taste pretty good
- There have different towns like chinatown, small italy, korean town and yes the place is legit filled with their own stuffs from restaurant to desserts to fahsion to convenient stores and markets even people. Walking down korean town the whole street is filled with koreans who speaks their own korean language.

There are so many more stuff just to like about that city. I mean who would not. Is a whole new experience and a dream come through for me. The biggest part of the trip is the people who brought me there and took time off to show me around. I guess it was the family who took me there plus the city itself which make this trip really unforgetful for me.

Things i dislike about NYC
- The subway is really dirty (i saw rats) and if you go during rush hour it can be a nightmare. But for an experience you should try hehe.
- The taxi drivers can make you have car sick even if you never had one in your life.

Honestly, i even like the dislike. Don't make sense i know. In conclusion, NY is a fascinating city and is freaking Beautiful. There are so many adventures and things to explore right in the city itself. You can never get enough from trying all diffeerent type of food especially their desserts will make you want even more at least for me.

Hands down THE BEST salad i have ever tasted in my whole entire life. The dressing combine so well with the salad that it became so addictitive to eat. Not exergerrating.

Image result for new year

20 no 21 things 2016 taught me:

- Make a "to do list" and most probably you will stick to it.
- Silent is gold. Sometimes is better to shut up.
- Always help to speak for those who are wrongly accused.
- Eat more fiber to avoid constipation.
- Let go of people you know you should let go.
- Sing and just keep on singing even if it is lacking. It really helps to distress.
- Before wanting to scream, count 1 to 10 and most probably you will calm down.
- Give to the poor even if you do not have that much.
- Never study last minute. NEVER EVER.
- Ask clearly before starting any assignments.
- Shopping alone is not that back. It's kinda fun.
-Friends you least expect to get a bf first will turn out to be the first.
- Coffee tastes better without sugar.
- What people think about you is none of your business.
- If you really care about something do it with all your heart if not just give up. It is a waste of time.
- Do not judge till you know the full reason.
- There is no coincidence. Everything happens for a reason.
- Family before friends.
- Your squad is still the best.
- K-drama, bingsu, Korean fashion are all so addictive.
- Care less. You will be so much happier.
- Always say your prayers before sleeping despite how sleepy you are.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! May 2017 be an awesome year for everyone :))

smile?

Image result for smile tumblr
smile?
do you know that a fake smile can hide a million tears?
if you are force to do it is better you don't smile at all
you can lie to people by smiling
but you can never lie to yourself
they say just a smile you can make a friend
just a smile you can make somebody's day
but.... i start to wonder what's behind people's smile

she fakes a smile and says she is okay
but in reality she barely make it through the day
and she continues to do it
even though she is hurting badly
because to her faking a smile is much easier
then to explain herself

i really feel for her that is why i wrote this blog
till then
bye :)

look passed

" You want to know what living life to the fullest also is? It's waking up on a Monday morning with no complaints even though you know you have a hard week approaching. It's knowing you deserve to smile and laugh. It's doing what you want to, no matter how stupid you think you may look. It's about being yourself, cause no one can tell you you're doing it wrong. Living life to the fullest isn't always buying a plane ticket and travelling, sometimes it's the small things we easily look passed. "

                                                                                                                                -unknown-

-no act of kindness, no matter how small is ever wasted
-you were born an original, don't become a copy
-your life is your story, go write it
-the true secret of happiness lies in taking a genuine interest in all the details of daily life
-the things that make me special are the things that make me ME
*i hope these quotes make your day*

this blog is kinda cheesy and i am sorry for that haha

a new chapter

Hello readers :)
Is been awhile since i last blog (i always start my blog this way because i suck at starting it haha).
I officially finish working on 17th of March on a Thursday at Yellow Brick Road cafe. To be honest i never regret working there because it taught me so much even beyond my ability to manage things and multitasking. People say multitasking is bad because you cannot focus on so many things at once but in some situation you have no choice.
A short letter to ybr:
Thank you for giving me such a great experience.
Thank you for accepting my bad attitudes sometimes especially during busy hours and things go wrong.
Thank you for bearing all my mistakes big and small alike.
Thank you for teaching me to always smile even when you are in a bad mood.
Thank you for teaching me patients especially when face with difficult customers ( in my heart i really want to punch them real hard)
Thank you for giving me free food and free coffee :))
Thank you for EVERYTHING for this two and a half months at ybr.

Sorry but i don't think so haha

I really enjoyed working with each and everyone of ybr's member. Will miss all of you :(

I am starting college tomorrow. Really really nervous!! Hope everything goes well.
Staying in the university hostel is not so bad after all. Is a apartment with 4 rooms and each room has 2 members. So do the maths all together 8 people staying under one roof. Besides, Sunway Pyramid is only a walking distance away and everyday i can watch people have fun at Sunway Lagoon haha. ( so much memories flashes back man )

That's all for now. All the best to all my friends out there who are like me starting college soon. You can have new friends but don't you dare forget me bleh :p

wOrK

Hey readers, so fast and tomorrow is Chinese new year. Is been a while since i last blog. Currently i am working in a cafe since the start of January and life was pretty busy. Here in this blog i will be sharing this incredible experience i had working in Yellow Brick Road :)

During the first week i felt like giving up, asking myself why did i choose to put myself in such a difficult and tiring environment. You see work is so much different from studying. Both to me is not an easy task. The difference is that you get paid working while studying you need to pay haha. Thinking back i would never imaging myself working in a cafe. First day i broke two glass cups and things got so confusing for me. Remembering table numbers, recognizing the foods and knowing their names etc. Never felt so stupid and clumsy haha. But eventually things got better. Making new friends and knowing the people there was a big part. Got to know someone who is a few years older than me and easily we just click and soon we became such crazy friends. I really like her. ( sry don't have her picture)

Crazy and fun friends

Yellow brick road is a non stop cafe is like you cannot rest because customers just keeps coming especially lunch hours. Sometimes i only get to eat lunch at 4 haha. Weekends and public holidays are even more crazy. After work i would just collapse to sleep on the way home. Never felt so tired in my life before.

Working in a cafe i learn to be thick skin. Everyday is not like rainbow or sunshine. There are days when is dark and stormy. I got scolded a few times because of my mistakes but there are times when i got scolded for others mistake. If i do wrong i surely will apologies but if i get blame for something i did not do then is not fair.(hope karma gets back to you) Overall working in Yellow brick road is such an experience and i don't think i can ever forget it. If you have time do drop by to eat. I promise you it will worth your money haha.

There's all for now. Happy Chinese New Year everyone!!

2015

Hey internet :)
Still one more day to go and we will be ushering 2016. Some will be excited some nervous some scare and some still want to remain in 2015. Well, personally for me i am full of excitement at the same time feeling fearful not knowing what the future really holds. For me 2015 had taught me so much in life. And i think through these learnings i had become a tougher person mentally and emotionally and also a more mature person i guess.

My biggest stress for 2015 is spm and for other form5 students. Looking back at my form4 i regretted so so much. My results was so ugly and all i did was having fun during my form 4 life. If only i studied harder and pay more attention to my studies i won't be suffering during form5. I really struggled no joke man but thank God everything is over like finally over!! No more add maths no more physics no more sejarah no more spm. Those times spent burying in books is finally over. Those sleepless night spent on studying is finally over. Of cuase i did not manage to pull through all this stresses if is not for the support of my family and friends and God's strength to carry me through.

Throughout the year of 2015 was filled with laughter, tears, joy, sadness, anger, fear and so on. Manage to meet a few new people in this year. Some people i got closer too while some left. The month of December played a rather important role all in all. That's because many event took place in that month. Good things :D

Prom. 19dec2015
I am very grateful and blessed to work with the prom committee. The truth is i was so tempted to pull out last minute. Reason was last minute i got a news to join a 10 days camp which was held in Thailand. I was overjoyed but it did not last long because it collided with the prom. At that moment i had to make the decision to go or not to go. I was torn but then when i look at how the Committee was suffering and trying all ways to make the Yule ball a blast i made up my mind to not be double minded and i was grateful that i make the right choice no regrets. It was one of the most best moments in 2015 i got to say. We even stayed over at the hotel.

Photos speak louder than words :) here is some of the photos taken.

There were many more photos but for some reason it had an error uploading

Outing with the squad :)))
The word squad i just learn this year yes from the squad. Basically malaysian way of saying would be gang. I couldn't thank them more than anything for stepping into my life. I cannot imaging high school life without them. Most of the beautiful memories were created with them. Personal note to u guys Shyne ni, Juniper, Karen, Carmen: thank you so much i don't know how to express my thankfulness. I guess this is the best i can do. Without you guys my life would not be complete chessy but true haha. Don't forget me when we go our separate ways in college.

Part-time job
My older sister told me this at one time and i can never forget those words.
“ try anything and everything in life which does not bring you harm.”
I get this question a lot about how i got the job. It all started out of boredom so i read the edge newspaper. And i came across a page about this yellow brick road cafe and so out of curiosity i message them asking if they needed any part timer without hoping they will answer. I just did that for fun because it does not hurt trying haha. To my suprise they answered and told me to come for the interview and so here i am waiting to start work at 2 of January 2016. To be honest i am very nervous and afraid. Is a completely new environment new people new place. I don't have the confident that i can to it. Every day the cafe is pack with people. I went there to pay a visit and to my suprise i was waiting in line just to have a seat.

In conclusion all i can say is that i am really blessed. Even though there were times when i felt so lost and felt like really giving up all hopes yet i pulled through by the helped of God. And so i would like to give him back all the glory.

Thank you Jesus. Thank you to everyone who had make 2015 an awesome year for me. Thank you a thosand million times. I hope 2016 would be an even better year for everyone:DD

Forgive me if there are any errors in my spelling or vocabularies tehee. I'm half asleep while blogging this.

what now?

if i had a choice i would want to work in a bookstore but no spp

heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
spm finally over !
that means
high school life over!
that means
stress over !
that means freedom!

but to be honest
idk what to do with this freedom

i'm not a type of person who plan things i just go with the flow. if the wind blows to the west i just follow; if to the south i follow; to the north or east i follow.
pretty dumb i know.

i did wrote down what i want to do but if it comes true than yay if not is just a dream.

i want to work to keep my mind occupied but no transport.
starting to learn driving but for some reason i'm not keen to learn.
idk what to do in the future i'm so lost.

as you grow older there's more responsibility to carry. when young time when people ask what you want to be is so easy just to answer something like i want to be a doctor or a teacher
but now is so different
what you answer actually determines your future
so scary!!!

for the past two days i have been watching k-dramas. idk why but i'm a big fan when it comes to k-dramas. i tried watching taiwaness, japaness and hong kong dramas but is not as interesting as the korean ones. idk what so interesting also because all the k-dramas kinda look the same. you can predict what will happen in the next episode. to be honest i had been listening to k-pop songs from super junior to shinee to exo to beast to infinite to winner to 6 days to sistar to ailee to many others.
currently i realize justin bieber songs are not so bad then before lol. haha

happy holidays everyone!

live life

hello readers (if there is any haha) haven't been blogging for so long.... yeah busy life. three more months till spm is over. wohooo just the though of it makes me really excited.

firstly happy raya to all malays out there celebrating hari raya :D

recently just celebrated karen's birthday... yayyy!! it was really fun even though it was last minute plan. what i really love about my friends is whenever one of our birthday draws near we will always come up with a birthday plan. and im really grateful for that. actually come to think of it there's so many thing to be grateful in life. so take time to be thankful for that. well my blog today is about livig life to the fullest....

here's a illustration:
you see, when a wild animal eats its prey it will sometimes eat all the meat and even crunch the bones and drink the marrow out of them. now that's hungry (and kind of gross). sorry about that illustration haha.

people say "drink the marrow out of life." that means getting everything out of life that you can while you're alive. it doesn't mean to live rich or dangerously. it means to live each moment as if it really matters, because it does. take time to smell the flowers. lie down in a field of grass. climb a tree (still on bucket list). tell all the people how much they mean to you. do something really nice for someone, it won't hurt. make a decision to give up worrying. don't be satisfied to sit on the couch and watch other people on television living their life. be hungry enough for life to get out there and eat it up, down to the marrow.

i wrote this blog is because i had been watching travelling vlogs on the internet and i really wish that could be my life when i grow up. is a reminder to myself and maybe to you too haha.

that's all for now, byeeee :)

*sorry if there is any spelling or grammar errors*

Personality Plus

Everyone wants a better personality but everyone is different even twins. There is no two alike because everyone is unique.

One afternoon during work when there is no customers my boss hand me a book and told me to read. It was from the book i learn so much about people so much on how to accept people and not get angry easily.

Here are 4 main personalities:

1. popular sanguine personality
the extroverts. the talker. the optimist
- they are friendly and enthusiastic when it comes to people
- you always find them talking and making people laugh
- they like variety and flexibility
- they always laugh and tell things that people count it as embrasement to others
- their emotions are controlled by their circumstances. Their emotions go up and down according to
  what is happening around them.

2. perfect melancholy personality
the introvert. the thinker. the pessimist
- they are always negative
- they are always deep in thoughts
- they are very sensitives and get hurt easily
- they normally like it quiet
- neatness is a necessity for them

3. powerful choleric personality
the extrovert. the doer. the optimist
- the born leader
- they can be hurtful sometimes in their words but they don't mean to hurt
- never try to get in a quarrel with them cause you will regret haha
- they are always right in what they do
- realize they are not compassionate they don't go by pity feelings
- exudes confidence

4. peaceful phlegmatic personality
the introvert. the watcher. the pessimist
- always put other people problems first before theirs
- a peacemaker
- never expect enthusiasm from them
- always calm and cool in making decisions
- patient
- keeps their own emotions hidden

so which one do you think best describe you? all of the 4 have their own positive and negative side. during this Christmas i also learn that is not about just receiving and making yourself happy but to share the joy and happiness to everyone around you. learn to accept who you are never pretend to be someone else and also accept others because not everyone have the same personality as us. if that is so the world will be so boring.

Lastly merry Christmas everyone !!!

far away

busy like thats no tomorrow......... i wonder weather is worth the time working but still it was my choice from the start...... i really want to go to a place far away where i cannot be found......

since i don't know when i had started to like being alone like alone. i started to develop the fear of meeting new people. but my work had demand me to meet many different type of people even to some scary women who just cant be patient with you while receiving their cash or products that they purchase. sometimes i wish to scream into their face like real loud but then again who am i? im just some part timer lol. and from this few weeks of working i began to judge people and get frustrated so easily. when i come home after work im quiet i dont say much like what happen during work. don't get me wrong my work is good and kinda fun  i learn a lot of things that is beyond my age. one thing good about working is i get to think through a lot of stuffs that happen in my life and here was few of the things......

life is so freaking unfair like sooooo unfair. i join my church camp during one of the three days in ipoh ( my hometown). and one afternoon my mum took me for a walk around ipoh town and showed me her house and school and at the same time i realize homeless people sleeping around the streets and beggars begging for money ( they look kinda scary ). is real sad like rich people they can use their money to gamble and get drunk and all but here are poor people trying hard just to have at least one meal a day.......

besides, few weeks ago an uncle that i just meet....... died all of a sudden..... in his sleep..... no goodbye..... no word said..... just gone forever....... he was rich. his life was prosperous as a business man but then boom the next thing without any warning he was gone...... FOREVER

and i realize this:

life there are tough time and sometimes is like you can break down. your mind dont seems like working is like you are dead but still breathing. is like you are running out of breath. is like you just want to hide. is like you just want to fall into a deep sleep and never wake up........
but our heart is like the above pic up and down and up again. is the same as life. this only goes to show we are still alive. and life is just like that is the fact of life...........

but if our life is like the above pic where it seems so smooth and easy.......... it goes to show we are dead. come to think of it whose life dont have freaking any problem. if this is true they are not growing in life they are stunted.......... dead........

she told me once "if you see anyone really happy on the outward actually they are the once who are really depressed and sad...."

*im in no way judging anyone in this blog. all of this are just my thoughts. im not emoing just in case u think i am hehe.

till next time byeeeeeee

PenANG

I have never been to penang as surprise as it sounds so when a trip to penang was planned i beg my parents to let me go. this trip was one of the most unforgetful trip and was the first school trip i went without shyne-ni and juniper ( was a bit down when they told they wont be going) but then i had lots of good time with other friends Chan Kah Mun and Enqi and few others.

Even though there was a bit of trouble here and there, places that we dident get to go but still it was a fun and yolo trip after all hehe. one of the best place is the hostel where we stayed. before the trip i got the news from joseph that the toilet was public and is unisex and i was kinda angry because toilet is like my second "house" i go toilet like countless times in a day haha. but then the hostel was awesome and so freaking cozyyyyy. the toilet turn out pretty good.

1. here is the cozy place where we play cards, chat, laugh, just chill and take selfies.

2. escape theme park (the yolo place)

i hang out most of the time with Chan Kah Mun and i swear her actions and her screams while playing those game is so darn funny. never saw that part of her till then. i always made her play any game before me and i will be watching her if is scary then at least i can escape haha. there were times when she scream till it make me shiver and there were times when her actions basically when she suffered trying to finish playing those games make me laugh till i want to drop. i should had help her but then i just stood there and laugh. anyway thank you kah mun for helping me especially while playing the flying fox and throughout all those tough games. those were indeed nice memories :)

3. penang hill

this was one of the fun places. took most of the pictures here.

kinda miss the trip now that i'm back at selangor. hope there will be more trips :))))

one of my favorite photo hehe
